This also applies to building materials. For this reason, the term \u201cenvironmentally friendly\u201d can be found on more and more construction products. However, very few manufacturers actually back up this advertising claim.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<p>If we claim that our products deserve the label \u201cenvironmentally friendly and sustainable\u201d, then we prove it.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a10989d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a10989d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-large\">Regional is the best choice<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fe0cfe5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fe0cfe5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We only use lime for the production of our sump lime from German lime deposits. The marble sands and marble flour that we use also come from rock deposits in Germany. The associated short transport routes have less of an impact on the environment. Especially since the<a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kalkstein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> German occurrence<\/a> are among the purest limestone deposits in Europe. So we have lime in a quality of 98%<a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Calciumcarbonat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Calcium carbonate<\/a> available. Preservatives are poisons that affect organisms and damage the environment. No preservatives or fungicides are used in KalkKind products. Due to the high alkalinity of the sump lime used, no bacteria and germs can form or multiply, which would make the materials unusable in the buckets. The lime has a pH of 12.6. Microplastics are a major problem for the state of our oceans today. The ecosystems suffer from the constant increase in microplastics <\/span><\/span><span data-entity-key=\"910\" data-offset-key=\"5eru0-3-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-3-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">in <\/span><\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">Cycles. Increasingly large amounts are being found in our food and drinking water.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">There are studies on all possible sources of microplastics: on cosmetics, cleaning agents, fertilizers, packaging waste, car tires and much more. There are hardly any studies on the proportion of microplastics that enter the environment via building materials and paints. But where is the plastic when building materials are torn down and disposed of after their useful life?<br><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">Where is the plastic when the paint brushes and paint rollers are washed out after work? Where do the plastics contained in the building materials go when the tools, buckets, agitators, sponge boards, smoothing trowels etc. are cleaned with water after the work is done. Even if sponges and cleaning rags that are used while working are washed out or thrown away, some of these chemicals are released into the environment.<br><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">What happens to the sanding dust that is generated during renovation, refurbishment and modernization? Inside there are lots of the finest plastic particles from the plastic-containing surfaces that were sanded. Let&#8217;s leave it with these few examples, through which every day thousands of tons of plastics end up in our wastewater or directly in the soil and thus in the environment.<br><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"5eru0-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5eru0-4-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">The fact that these sources are hardly mentioned in the studies on microplastics is not due to the fact that the quantities that are released are insignificant. The lobbyists from the chemical and building materials industries are powerful. The greed for billions in profits is stronger than the duty to take responsibility for the environment and the climate.
